Perform as the primary public relations person for the church.
Courtesy, good cheer and attention to confidentiality is a top priority.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of the members of the congregation.
Maintain an up-to-date church website.
Preferred But Not Required Qualifications College graduate or equivalent work-related experience.
Strong computer and internet skills.
Proficiency in the use of standard office tools.
(computer, copy machine, telephone answering machine, etc.
Demonstrates the ability to clearly and effectively communicate information to parishioners and visitors.
Demonstrates patience and understanding when dealing with confused, grieving, or difficult visitors to the office.
Is friendly and courteous and works well with a wide range of different personalities.
Strong organizational skills.
Willingness to go above and beyond Self-starter with good multitasking and prioritizing capabilities.
The ability to work independently without supervision.
